About Buppy Simank
The owner of Buppy's has been in the business of feeding people since 1984. The
secret of his success is his reputation for listening to the wants and needs of
his customers, and of course, great food!
At 15 years old, Buppy began by washing dishes after school for the former owner.
He was a quick learner, and it wasn't long before he worked his way up the ladder.
In 1990 he became a partner. Five years later, he bought out his partner and changed
the name to Buppy's Catering. It wasn't long before he outgrew the space, so in
1997, a new facility was built in Bryan to handle the growing volume of business.
Buppy was making a name for himself in the catering business.
Three years later, Buppy expanded his operations by adding his famous BBQ Buffet.
With this addition, Buppy was able to meet the needs of those who can't get enough
of Buppy's great barbeque
From his humble roots, Buppy, his cooking, and his successful food business, have
rapidly become a fan favorite, both locally and Texas wide. He has built his business
one step at a time to ensure the very best quality of food, service and comparative
pricing.
Regardless of whether an event has 25 or 25,000 guests, his philosophy remains the
same. He runs his business based on "old school" customer service, where he delivers
what he says, and the customer always comes first. It is with great enthusiasm and
pride (and lots of hard work!), that Buppy loves to feed people...
